Ashley stays on track with UP3™
The biggest impact that UP has made in my life is accountability. I tend to go into a bit of denial when I'm in a less healthy phase.
“The biggest impact that UP has made in my life is accountability. I tend to go into a bit of denial when I'm in a less healthy phase,” says Ashley Cramer, an UP3™ wearer since 2015.
Though Ashley has always led an active lifestyle, it wasn't until age 30 that she made the decision to go from taking classes to leading them. Leaving the doldrums of pharmaceutical sales and corporate America behind, she struck out on her own, opening The Barre Studio in Capitola, in 2015. “It's been amazing,” explains Ashley. “On the sales side I never got to interact with my customers, and now with my studio I can see how important health is to other people, too.”
Ashley first learned about UP® through a friend. “One of my friends was a runner, and she had an UP3. I had tried some different fitness trackers, but I didn't like the way they fit or the way they looked. So, when I saw my friend's I immediately asked what it was.”
“People will say to me, that's a really cute bracelet,” says Ashley proudly showing off her UP3 in Sand Twist. “It makes me feel good when I say ‘Oh this is my fitness tracker!’ It may sound a little vain, but it looks cooler than other fitness trackers. I've also tried several different brands, but of all the fitness trackers UP has the best app.”
“My favorite UP feature is probably Smart Coach. When I'm stressed out, I tend to lose sleep. The sleep tracker on UP has really helped me out. When I've had a week of 5 hour sleeps, a little notice will come up and let me know that I should try and get a good night sleep.”
Instinctively, Ashley asks for the time. After this interview, she is headed to a conference for other female entrepreneurs. She changed her flight so she could tell her story in person at Jawbone®. “I own my own business, so life is a bit of a rollercoaster,” she says, laughingly.
